Moving deeper into the land of the Unknown.

God told Abraham…”leave your Fathers house and go to a land I will show you”  How nice would be be punch in an address to the destination that God had in store for you.  then use your Tom Tom to give you a turn by turn course until you arrive at your destination?  The life of faith does not work that way though does it?  However we do have a GPS (Guidance Powered by the Spirit)  We must walk by faith and not by sight.

I have been praying on a daily basis for God to put Kingdom people in my path — to make “Kingdom Konnections” on a daily basis and God has been faithful it see that prayer through.

Just yesterday I was praying (after a week of being in the house) “Lord I need something to do…”  “Do I need to look for a regular job…or should I look for a job in ministry or should I trust you to provide for my family through ministry opportunities”?  The next day a Kingdom Minded man…gave me a call and it looks to be setting up a door opening for me to get into real-state business, with the liberty to pursue my music ministry.  Becky and I have been down to one vehicle and have only needed one, but she started doing some work at a flower-shop and has needed the SUV.  So the guy loaned me a truck to drive that had been sitting in a barn for a year.  Man God is awesome.  The Great part about it is that I am coming to a greater understanding about how God provided.

Sometimes its hard to get away from the ownership precept, but when it comes down to it…in the Kingdom prospective…what do you really own?  We are stewards of God’s stuff — the stuff we have in our “possession” is not ours, it’s God’s given to us on loan to be a steward.  Our Talents, possessions and yes even our children — yep — God’s   I’m so thankful that every blessing I have been receiving is coming from kingdom people who understand well this principle.  We are all working together to accomplish the King’s Kingdom agenda, and not building up our own Kingdom’s.

Thank you to everyone who is being a good steward of the King’s stuff and blessing our lives as a result.
